Our Commitment to Publishing Integrity

CENA is committed to the highest standards of publishing. We believe that rigor and transparency are the cornerstones of academic authority.

Our Editorial & Peer-Review Policy

All scholarly articles published by CENA journals undergo rigorous double-blind peer review by an independent expert review board.

  • Initial Check: The editorial team first assesses each manuscript for suitability, originality, and potential ethical issues (e.g., plagiarism).
  • Expert Review: The manuscript is then sent to at least two independent, anonymous experts in the field.
  • Final Decision: The journal’s Academic Editor makes a final decision (Accept, Revise, or Reject) based on the reviewers’ reports.
  • We adhere to the core practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Our Publication Ethics Policy

CENA editors and authors are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards. Our policies cover:

  • Authorship and Contributorship
  • Plagiarism and Data FalsificationConflicts of Interest
  • Corrections and Retractions

  • For Readers:
  • Unless otherwise specified,
  • articles are free to read, download, and share, immediately upon publication.
  • For Authors: There are no Article Processing Charges (APCs) or submission fees.
  • Author Copyright: Authors retain the copyright to their work. All articles are published under a Creative Commons (CC BY 4.0) license, which allows for maximum reuse and citation with proper attribution.

Our Publishing Tiers & Standards

CENA supports a diverse ecosystem of scholarship. To serve both our broad university community and the world’s most innovative thinkers, we maintain two distinct tiers of journals, each with its own specific standards for acceptance.

1. CENA University Journals(e.g., Journal of Mental Health, Journal of Education)

These journals form the core of our scholarly output. They provide the essential platform for disseminating high-quality, peer-reviewed research from and for the global academic community.Standard for Acceptance:Submissions must be scholarly rigorous. The work must be original, methodologically sound, ethically conducted, and represent a clear, valid contribution to the existing body of knowledge in its field.

The Flagship (Elite) Tier: RAEST

RAEST is our flagship journal, reserved for exceptional work that has the potential to define or redirect a field. It is a venue for ideas that mark a true epistemological shift.Standard for Acceptance:Submissions must be transformative. The work must go beyond being merely « correct » and demonstrate profound novelty, high potential impact, or a foundational epistemologic advancement.

We measure this by asking:

  • Does this paper introduce a new, verifiable concept or methodology?
  • Does it fundamentally challenge or overturn a dominant paradigm?
  • Does it build a new bridge between fields (e.g., Mandombe logic and computation)?
